I noticed that one of the search-term pings we're getting on the site is "wall ball spacing." Sounds like someone has a question. We can help with that.
If you're trying to figure out the vertical spacing, it's pretty simple. The center of the "women's Rx" target should be 9ft (~2.75m) from the ground, and the "men's" should be 10ft (~3.05m). Note that for competitive athletes, a lot of competitions are just making both shoot to 10ft now.
If you're mounting to a rig, things can get a bit tricky. Depending on the exact brand and style, sometimes the targets might be a couple inches too low, which can be a real downer when you shift over to someone else's setup when traveling or competing. Just something to keep in mind. Our Warcry targets are designed to mount to most common uprights at the correct height, and we're currently in the process of redesigning our mounting brackets to add some more up/down flexibility to make working with different brands easier. Stay tuned there.
And now that you've got these numbers figured out, you should check out the coolest damn targets you can get, right here.
